Lengua y Literatura de segundo año medio (Decreto 1264/2016), compilada: veinticuatro objetivos aprendibles — de la lectura crítica y la producción de textos argumentativos a la literatura hispanoamericana, el análisis del discurso y la investigación con fuentes — reunidos en cuatro unidades de espiral habilidosa que vuelve sobre leer, escribir y comunicar. Cada fuente curada que vale la pena guardar y los prerrequisitos que las abren. Una nota honesta: las 228 h que suma la asignatura (57 h por unidad) son orientativas — el programa las declara referenciales y cada colegio las ajusta a su calendario, no un contrato.

Language & Literature of second year (Decreto 1264/2016), compiled: twenty-four learning objectives — from critical reading and argumentative writing to Hispano-American literature, discourse analysis and source-based research — gathered into four spiral-skill units that return to reading, writing and communicating. Every curated source worth keeping, and the prerequisites that unlock them. One honest note: the 228 h this subject sums to (57 h per unit) is orientative — the programme declares hours referential and each school adapts them to its calendar, not a contract.

Leer y analizar narraciones contemporáneas vinculadas a exilio, migración e identidad — con foco en el cuento latinoamericano moderno y el boom (Borges, Rulfo, García Márquez, Cortázar, Bombal, Onetti). Desarrollar análisis narrativo integral (conflicto, personajes, narrador, recursos temporales, intertextualidad) y formular interpretaciones sustentadas en citas y contexto.

Read and analyse contemporary narratives tied to exile, migration and identity — centred on the modern Latin American short story and the Boom (Borges, Rulfo, García Márquez, Cortázar, Bombal, Onetti). Build integrated narrative analysis (conflict, character, narrator, temporal devices, intertextuality) and formulate evidence-based interpretations.

Analizar y evaluar textos argumentativos y de medios (columna de opinión, carta al director, discurso, ensayo, noticia, reportaje, propaganda, crónica) identificando tesis, argumentos, falacias y recursos persuasivos lingüísticos y no lingüísticos. Escribir para explicar y persuadir con tesis, evidencia, contraargumentos y cierre coherente, cuidando cohesión y corrección ortográfica.

Analyse and evaluate argumentative and media texts (op-ed, letter to the editor, speech, essay, news, report, advertising, chronicle) identifying thesis, arguments, fallacies and linguistic and non-linguistic persuasive devices. Write to explain and to persuade with claim, evidence, counter-argument and coherent closure, with cohesion and spelling accuracy.

Analizar poesía lírica — con énfasis en el Siglo de Oro (Garcilaso, Quevedo, Góngora, Sor Juana, Lope, Calderón) y el soneto como forma fija — atendiendo a símbolos, hablante lírico, lenguaje figurado, repeticiones y sonoridad. Valorar la relevancia histórica del Barroco y ejercitar escritura flexible, proceso de escritura y estilo directo/indirecto, integrando investigación con fuentes válidas.

Analyse lyric poetry — emphasising the Golden Age (Garcilaso, Quevedo, Góngora, Sor Juana, Lope, Calderón) and the sonnet as a fixed form — attending to symbols, lyric speaker, figurative language, repetition and sound. Appreciate the Baroque historical relevance and practise flexible writing, the writing process and direct/indirect style, integrating research with valid sources.

Analizar textos dramáticos leídos o vistos abordando conflicto y problema humano, personajes, atmósfera y puesta en escena (iluminación, sonido, vestuario, escenografía, actuación), proyectándolos al tema del poder y la ambición (incluida la narrativa gráfica). Desarrollar comprensión y producción oral: evaluar discursos, dialogar con evidencia y exponer ante audiencia con progresión y apoyo visual.

Analyse dramatic texts read or seen addressing conflict and human problem, character, atmosphere and staging (lighting, sound, costume, scenography, acting), projected onto power and ambition (including graphic narrative). Develop oral comprehension and production: evaluate speeches, dialogue with evidence and present to an audience with progression and visual support.
