1. Reconoce rasgos del cuento moderno (brevedad, unidad de efecto, final sorpresivo o abierto) en un relato del corpus.
2. Explica el contexto histórico-cultural del boom y su proyección (realismo mágico, lo fantástico) en el cuento leído.
3. Relaciona el cuento con el eje de la unidad (exilio, migración, identidad) mediante citas.
4. Compara dos cuentos latinoamericanos por tema, narrador o tratamiento del tiempo.
5. Valora la vigencia del cuento conectándolo con una problemática actual.

1. Recognises traits of the modern short story (brevity, unity of effect, surprising or open ending) in a corpus story.
2. Explains historical-cultural context of the Boom and its projection (magical realism, the fantastic) in the story read.
3. Relates the story to the unit axis (exile, migration, identity) via quotations.
4. Compares two Latin American stories by theme, narrator or handling of time.
5. Appraises the story's current relevance by connecting it to a present-day issue.
